Surfcam viewing Tolcarne Beach, below Narrowcliffe, at Newquay from the roof of Surfer's Hotel.
Newquay represents a delightful mix of spectacular coastlines; wonderful beaches washed clean by the Atlantic Ocean; rock pools bustling with marine life; crystal-clear sea for a leisurely swim, or for the challenge of surfing the best sets in the UK; soaring cliffs with magnificent views; and delightful gardens for tranquil strolls.
Surfers, try out the wedge! The beaches of Towan, Great Western and Tolcarne are the closest to the town centre, so they tend to be busy during the holiday season. The surf at the town beaches is smaller that at Fistral, with Towan Beach adjacent to the harbour being the most sheltered. During heavy surf, it is often the only surfable spot within several miles.
