The English Chippy is famous the world over for that most British of delicacies, Fish and Chips - "...a popular take-way food consisting of deep-fried fish in batter with deep-fried potatoes".

Lancashire is also home to some of the country's favourite seaside resorts, including Blackpool - Europe's biggest.
